FEDER PESCAMAR Magazine visited AZ TRADING at EFTTEX 2018 Amsterdam
At our stand at EFTTEX 2018 - Amsterdam, we received the visit of FEDER PESCAMAR MAGAZINE. This is the article from their September 2018 issue 186 (page 29).
A bit of corporate civil responsibility:
One of the most emotional moments was when we visited the stand of the Spaniards from AZ Trading; beyond the renowned products they carry, of which the Guy Harvey /AFTCO clothing stands out in particular, they wanted to talk to us about an impressive environmental education project they are already carrying out, and which is endorsed by the IGFA itself. Raúl Roca told us about the IGFA - AZ Trading Kids School, which is a way of raising awareness among children to try to reverse the terrible direction we have taken in terms of sustainability, educating children about waste, responsible fishing and awareness of the species that inhabit aquatic ecosystems. The school is open to all kinds of entities that want to join, such as town councils, fishing clubs, nautical clubs, etc.; you can contact Raúl himself (raulroca@aztrading.es); the first goal is for the project to reach 10,000 children, so there is no excuse for not participating. In addition to all this, the company AZ Trading has proposed to change the packaging of its products and make them out of cardboard, following in the line of making our world much more sustainable, something that was observed in some other brands, such as Plastools, which presented its thread spool made of compacted crushed corn, which decomposes in 8 - 10 weeks once exposed to the environment.
