AZ Trading promotes environmentally friendly packaging: ECO PACKAGING

During 2019, we will be improving the new packaging system for more than 20 products in order to eliminate plastic packaging as far as possible. In the world of fisheries, a large proportion of products are packaged and displayed in shops in plastic packaging. This means tens of millions of packages, not all of which return to the recycling process, many are unfortunately thrown into the sea or the river, taking more than 500 years to disappear, seriously damaging our only planet.
As far as possible, we will change from plastic to cardboard, without affecting the display of the products in the shop as the project has been designed, since in each pack of for example 12 units, there will be one in plastic as before and 11 in cardboard, so that the product will always be visible to the customer in the display. We have started with the products we pack (e.g. Sampo). We are in dialogue with our suppliers about this project to try to get them to join us. We strongly want to be one of the first to contribute to the elimination of plastics in packaging.
We also offer "BULK-PACKAGING" cardboard boxes: The product is presented in boxes with bulk quantities of the product (50-200-500-1000). At the same time we also serve small recycled paper bags in which the shop inserts the quantity of product that the customer wishes to buy (5, 10, 30,...). With this, the customer not only gets the quantity he/she wants to buy, but we also avoid individual plastic packaging and the accidental arrival of these plastic packages in the seas, rivers,...
